Good Flash Form Filler Program (Tagkeys)

A good program I have found to fill in flash forms is TagKeys. This is a pretty flexible program. You can fill in a field at a time or make a macro for a whole form. Since Roboform does not fill in flash forms Tagkeys is an indispensable part of any serious sweepstakers arsenal. I have found it to be the best choice for those contest and sweeps that use flash for their forms. And as far as I know it does not disqualify you. It is not an automatic form filling service.

OK. Someone asked how to make a macro in Tagkeys. All you do is open it up and click the add button on the bottom. Put in a tag name. Then add a tag name. Use one or two letters or numbers that you haven’t already used. In the text data area start filling out the form. It usually starts out with name, etc. After each field press the tab key to tab to the next form field. It will show up in the tagkeys text data area as {tab}. Keep going until you have the form filled out completely. Save it, and next time you need to fill out the form just place your cursor in the first form field then press the period key follow by the tagkeys you chose for that particular form followed by the space key. Your form should be filled out now just check it over to make sure it is correct and click the submit key.

I also keep some one key tag keys for fields I use by themselves a lot.  I have “e” for my email address, “ph” for phone “c” for city, uh, “z” for zip code, etc.

Adjack Sweepstakes - Watch commercials - Win Cash

There is a new sweepstakes site that is pretty cool. It is called Adjack, and you view commercials to get entries into the weekly sweepstakes. You have to watch 5 commercials a day to get numbers. I kinda like it just to watch the videos of the commercials. Some are new and some are the old classics. A lot of them I have never seen. I guess I don’t watch as much television as I used to before the internet. Check it out if you get the chance. The jackpot called Madjack started out at $100,000 and increases every week if it isn’t awarded. You have to match all the numbers. For an explanation of the prizes go to the site. There are also smaller prizes one called Mojack for $25,000. And there is another called Crackajack which awards $1,000.

How I use Turbosweeps

I enter sweepstakes just about every day. I use Turbosweeps to enter sweeps that are multi-entry. By that I mean that if I can enter daily, weekly or monthly I put them in Turbosweeps and it remembers them for me.  The program is really just a browser with some customized functions.  This program is no longer supported.  It has some features that don’t work.  The way I use it is a little different than it was supposed to be used.  Some of the features I don’t like.  The prize group function is semi-useless.  It is supposed to get the title of the site from the site title meta tag.  But that function really doesn’t work.  The title that is displayed is from the last page visited.  It has a window that shows the sweepstakes called the “sweepstakes list.”  That is fine, but it is only sorted one way, alphabetically.  If I want my favorite sweepstakes to show up at the top, I have to do a little customizing.  I use a star (*) system. According to the ARV.  (Approximate Retail Value):

***** 5 stars for $1,000,000 and over (rare)

****   4 stars for $100,000 to $999,999

***     3 stars for $50,000 to $99,999

**       2 stars for $10,000 to $49,999

*         1 stars for $1,500 to $9,999

The ones below that get no star.  I also have to put the expiration date in there so they are sorted by expiration date after that.  For example HBO has a sweepstakes promoting the new John Adams movie that ends April 18, 2008 and they are giving away $10,000 so I list it as **8-04-18 HBO.

Disturbing Trend

One of the things I have noticed lately is the idea of putting a sweepstakes on your blog.  To be entered to the sweeps you must submit a comment to a post.  That in itself isn’t too bad.  What I don’t like is most of these blogs have everything on on page.  The scroll bar is so small you can barely grab it with your cursor.  I guess people think this adds “content” to their blog.  Most of the sweepstakes are for some small item the average person wouldn’t want anyway.  I just think it is annoying sorting through all the sweepstakes on the sweepstakes site I use and finding the ones that aren’t “Post a Comment”

Anyway, just my small vent.

Contest Blogger Contest

Contest Blogger is a great site for contest enthusiasts.  They have a blog, a forum, and their own sweepstakes.  If you link to them on you website or blog, you are entered to win $100 every month.  It is real simple.  The main part of the site is a forum so you can check that out even if you don’t have a blog or a website.
